Course Overview

Have you ever known someone who could see a potential in you that you hadn't seen in yourself? If you look back at your life, you may see that this observation may have been a life-changing moment that served as a catalyst in your life and encouraged you to step into your power and potential. As practitioners (allopathic and complimentary) this simple act of observation of potential is scientifically proven to be an important influence in the healing outcome and may in fact set the stage for healing itself.

In this presentation from the 2017 Members Conference, Tracey will turn your focus strongly towards one of the main tools we use in BodyTalk: the ability to observe alternate potentials that exist for the client. Sharing the results of her own years of research in Integrative Medicine, Tracy will teach you specific techniques of observation. Her explanations and teachings on why she sees “BodyTalk as the medicine of observation” are sure to inspire you and dramatically enhance your BodyTalk practice in every way.

"Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force. The friends who listen to us are the ones we move toward. When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand."
– Karl A. Menniger

Course Description

As BodyTalk practitioners, our main tool is our ability to observe alternate potentials that exist for the client. In fact, this truly is the medicine of observation. In this presentation, Tracey shares the studies she performed as part of her dissertation which prove that the presence of the practitioner (either physically or at a distance) purely as an observer seems to positively influence the client by creating an opportunity for healing to begin. More importantly, her studies proved that not only the simple observation of the practitioner is important but that the nature of the observation has an even greater effect. In other words, the practitioner's ability to hold the space for positive health to emerge and to point out the potential for healing/growth that exists for the client that he/or she may not have been able to see themselves seems to act as a catalyst to healing.
